Hermosa has remained steadily active over the last 3 to 4 weeks, with pending (26 in escrow) properties sharply up. Currently, there are 62 active & coming soon properties for sale. In comparing the month of May 2020 vs. 2019, the chart shows the same number of available homes on the market, however pending properties show an upward spike.

After a $500K price reduction, this Strand home found a buyer. 12 The Strand was built in 1987, has 3 levels and is located on the border of South Redondo and Hermosa on the southern end of the Hermosa Strand. This home last sold in 2018 for $5,194,000. 22 The Strand recently sold for $5,610,000, however it is 3600 sq. feet and built in 2001.

540 1st is a 10-unit townhome community on the west side of PCH, bordering Redondo beach. It took 5 weeks and a $49K discount to sell.

This home sold after 3 weeks and for $75K off the initial asking price. 1563 Golden is a 1940’s single family home located east of PCH. It sold in 2017 for $1,750,000 and in 2014 for $1.4M.
