Market activity has improved over the last 2 to 3 weeks here in Hermosa. Inventory is still low, however as often the case, there is a percentage of properties that will collect days on market due to lack of appeal, price, functionality, etc. Of the 9 pending and closed properties this week, 4 of them sold in 7 days or less. Good inventory is moving quickly. We have 54 properties currently on the market for sale and 20 properties in escrow.

710 8th Listed for $2,650,000 4 bed/3.5 bath

710 8th is a 2004 built single family home, west of PCH, with a rooftop deck. This home last sold in 2013 for $1,675,000.

1705 Bayview Dr. Listed for $3,199,000 4 bed/4.5 bath

1705 Bayview is a brand new attached townhome built last year. It was active on the market for 175 days last year before it was relisted with a different real estate company.

248 27th Listed for $2,179,000 3 bed/2.5 bath

248 27th is a single family home in the sand section, 2 blocks to the sand. It last sold in 2016 for $1.8M.


501 Herondo #9 Listed for $1,099,000 2 bed/2.5 bath

This condo went into escrow  after 2 weeks. 501 Herondo is part of a larger townhome complex located on the corner of Ardmore and Herondo. This unit sold 2 months ago for $950,000 and has since been renovated.

1037 2nd Listed for $3,099,000 4 bed/3.5 bath

1037 2nd is back in escrow after coming back to the market for 2 weeks. This home was built last year and the lot was purchased in 2018 for $1.3M.

663 Longfellow Listed for $2,400,000 3 bed/2.5 bath

663 Longfellow is a single family home on the popular Longfellow street. This home sold in 2019 for $ 2,290,000.

3112 Hermosa Avenue Listed for $4,100,000 3 bed/3 bath

This home was built in 1935 and went into escrow in less then a week.

2411 Prospect #117 Listed for $675,000 2 bed/2 bath

2411 Prospect sold in less than a week. This unit last sold in 2016 for $510,000.

446 Bayview Dr. #2 Listed for $2,100,000 3 bed/3.5 bath

446 Bayview is a detached townhome in the sand section of Hermosa. This home sold last April (2019) for $1.9M.

In only 3 weeks and after a $20K price reduction, this home has a buyer. 926 1st is an attached townhome on the Hermosa/Redondo border. This home has a deck with views.  945 1st, which is slightly larger, sold last November for $1,150,000.


619 Longfellow Sold for $2,950,000 4 bed/3.5 bath

In 40 days and after a $250K price reduction, this home has sold. 619 Longfellow is a brand-new, 2020 built detached townhome. The 6 townhomes to the west (built in 2017) sold in the range of $2.45M – $2.85M after completion.

1515 Monterey Sold $1,340,000 2 bed/1 bath

1515 Monterey sold off-market. This adorable beach cottage is on the west side Monterey. It was on the market in 2015 for $1,285,000. I believe it was sold with approved plans to build a new single family.
