It last sold in 2013 for $1,029,000. This detached townhome is just west of PCH and offers some ocean views. Another slightly larger unit in the same complex sold earlier this year for $1,450,000.

659 30th Listed for $5,500,000 6 bed/5.5 bath
22 days on the market and they have a buyer. This single family home sold last year for $1.7M, when it was a 4 bed/2 bath (tear down). Now it is a 6/5.5 5775 sq. ft. New Construction. This is a new construction designed and built by Steve Lazar, a well-known local builder. It is a huge home on a 5000 sq. ft. lot that is priced at $952 sq. ft. The price tag is ceiling busting for the area of Hermosa between Ardmore and PCH.
There are only 2 properties that have ever topped this price tag in area 149 (Ardmore to PCH). One is pending and the other is still active:
714 Marlita $6,250,000 (Cancelled was on the market for 800 days)
2850 El Oeste $7,999,000 (In Escrow)

1723 Golden Ave Listed for $989,000 3 bed/2 bath
It took 23 days to obtain a buyer. Golden last sold 11 years ago for $930,000. This detached townhome is just east of PCH and being sold AS-IS, in its present condition.
117 Lyndon St Listed for $1,598,000 3 bed/3.5 bath
This detached townhome, just steps from the beach, sold off-market in 2 hours! This home last posted a sale in 2002 for $901,500.
1435 Bonnie Brae St Listed for $2,299,000 4 bed/3.5 bath
In just over 2 weeks this single family home is in escrow. This property last sold in 2004 for $1,575,000 when it was built.

1512 Bayview Dr Sold for $1,310,000 2 bed/1 bath
Sold for close to list price, only $40K under. This single family last sold in 2005 for $875,000.
1882 Valley Park Av Sold for $2,150,000 3 bed/2 bath
A whopping $200K above list price. This one was on the market for 1 day before going into escrow and there was a ton of activity. This single family home last sold in 2012 for $1,235,000
2027 Harper Av Sold for $929,000 3 bed/2 bath
Closed at list price. This one was only on the market for 5 days before going into escrow. It’s right on the eastern border of Hermosa and North Redondo and sits on a standard tall/skinny size lot (2499 sq. ft.), however it is a smaller single family home with 1248 sq. ft. It looks like a total remodel or tear down home, however the dirt is priced within a reasonable range that makes it possible to build. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was sold to a builder.
